Child Safety Standards
Last updated: July 12, 2026
VoiceMe is committed to protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards describe our policies, detection practices, reporting mechanisms, and enforcement actions.
Safety declarations
VoiceMe allows logged-in users to report child safety concerns in-app. To learn more about reporting requirements, visit the Child Safety Standards.
VoiceMe complies with all relevant child safety laws, and reports to regional and national authorities. To learn more about reporting to the relevant authorities, contact us at support@voiceme.life.
1. Zero tolerance for CSAE
VoiceMe has a strict, zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation. We prohibit any content, conduct, or attempted conduct that:
- Depicts, promotes, or describes child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Grooms, solicits, or sexually exploits minors.
- Shares or requests intimate images of minors.
- Encourages self-harm, suicide, or violence against children.
Any account found to violate this policy is permanently banned and reported to the appropriate authorities.
2. Age gating and eligibility
VoiceMe is not intended for users under 18. Account creation is hard-gated to users who are at least 18 years old. We use date-of-birth verification at signup and reserve the right to request age verification when abuse is reported or suspected.
If we learn that an underage user has created an account, we remove the account and delete associated personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3. Prevention and detection
We use a layered approach to keep minors and harmful content off the platform:
- Identity verification: New accounts may be required to complete human verification before accessing messaging, tipping, or content-creation features.
- Automated moderation: Text, voice, and media content are scanned by automated classifiers for CSAE, grooming, nudity involving minors, and other high-severity safety signals.
- Human review: Flagged content and accounts are escalated to trained moderators for review.
- Hash matching: Where technically feasible, known CSAM hashes are checked against uploaded media.
4. Reporting CSAE
Users can report violating content or accounts directly in the app using the Report button on every clip, profile, message, and room. Reports are reviewed promptly.
Anyone — including non-users — can report CSAE concerns by emailing us at support@voiceme.life. We also report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline and to relevant law enforcement.
5. Enforcement
When CSAE or grooming is detected or reported, we take immediate action:
- Remove the offending content and preserve evidence as required by law.
- Suspend or permanently ban the offending account and any associated accounts.
- Block attempts to re-upload known abusive media.
- Report confirmed CSAM and exploitation to NCMEC and law enforcement.
- Notify affected users where appropriate and safe to do so.
6. Cooperation with authorities
We cooperate with law enforcement and child-safety organizations worldwide. When we receive valid legal requests related to CSAE investigations, we respond in accordance with applicable law and our commitment to child safety.
7. User education
We inform users about safe online behavior through our Community Guidelines, in-app prompts, and support materials. We encourage users to protect their personal information, to report suspicious behavior, and to use blocking and muting tools when needed.
8. Review and updates
We review these standards regularly and update them as laws, industry practices, and threats evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
